As a (Junior) Branch Representative you perform a key role in representing LYNX on a local level. You are in frequent contact with all the local team leads to motivate and to create awareness towards reaching the strategic goals as set by the board. Part of this of this role is to organize the bi-weekly team leaders meetings and the bi-yearly staff presentations.

The branch representative is responsible to create an attractive atmosphere which promotes cooperation and also takes the employee’s wellbeing into account. You are responsible for the housing of the office and also directly manage the facilitating staff to have a clean and proper work environment.   

The Branch Representative has a broad experience with the local market and a deep understanding of both the regulatory environment as well as the competitive environment. This also implies that you can act as a local sounding board to  senior management and other international roles whereby you contribute to the long term strategy.  

 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and Motivate:Drive your branch to achieve LYNX’s goals and mission while fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.  

  • Team Management:Coordinate team leader meetings, organize and present bi-yearly staff presentations, act as a sparring partner and confidant for all branch employees, and serve as the primary contact for local works council matters. 

  • Compliance and AML oversight: Lead weekly CARC meeting with CDD, Transaction Monitoring, and Compliance teams to review client files, new onboardings, and relevant cases. 

  • Operational Oversight:Oversee branch operations, including budgeting  

  • Strategic Leadership:Monitor progress towards objectives, contribute to local policy development, and provide insights on market trends.  

  • Stakeholder Management:Maintain relationships with external partners, participate in high-level management meetings, and ensure the well-being of employees and facilities.  

  • Branch advocacy: defend the local branch interest towards the board and management team. 

 

Must-Haves: 

  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.  

  • Strong presentation skills, acting as a spokesman 

  • Willingness to learn out of your comfort zone  

  • Integrity and performing according to all LYNX values 

  • Min 3 years of experience within LYNX  

  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English 

 

Nice-to-Haves: 

  • Proven management experience, ideally within financial services or online brokerage. 

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on motivating and developing teams. 

  • Knowledge of local market conditions, regulations, and industry trends.  

  • Experience in policy implementation, especially in areas like AML.  

  • Solid financial planning & budgeting skills and reporting  

  • Ability to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.   

  • Familiarity with managing office operations and facilities.  

  • Previous involvement in high-level management or strategy meetings.  

  • Experience in external stakeholder management and partnerships.
