We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth through new business initiatives, market expansion, and strategic partnerships. Reporting to senior leadership, you will identify and evaluate opportunities — organically and through partnerships or acquisitions — with a strong focus on entering new markets and expanding our product offering.

Your mission is to translate strategic opportunities into clear business cases and lead their execution together with cross-functional teams. You will ensure initiatives are commercially attractive, operationally feasible, and compliant with relevant regulations.

This is a hands-on role in a growing fintech, ideal for someone who combines strong commercial thinking with analytical skills and the ability to turn opportunities into measurable results.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across markets, products, and partnerships.
  • Monitor performance in existing markets and drive growth initiatives.
  • Build structured business cases including market sizing, revenue potential, costs, and risks.
  • Present recommendations and go/no-go decisions to senior management.
  • Lead execution of approved initiatives together with internal teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and potential acquisition targets.
  • Track performance of initiatives using defined KPIs and success metrics.
  • Support new market launches through the initial stabilization phase.

Your profile:

  • Several years’ experience in a role driving new business initiatives (Business Development, Strategy, Expansion, Business Management, or Financial Product Development), ideally within financial services, brokerage, or fintech.
  • Experience with P&L responsibility for a business line, product, or market.
  • Experience leading at least one other person and willingness to grow into managing a small team.
  • Experience working with Legal and Compliance on product launches, market entries, or client propositions.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking with understanding of revenue drivers and unit economics.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills, able to build and challenge business cases.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives end-to-end within deadlines.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills at management-team level.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and turn opportunities into structured plans.
  • Comfortable interacting with external partners and potential acquisition targets.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA, postgraduate degree, or MiFID-related certification is a plus.

What we offer:

  • Competitive monthly salary reflecting your experience
  • 13th-month salary, paid every December
  • Annual learning & development budget of €2,000 (courses, trainings, conferences)
  • A super cool office space – a villa with a garden in Prague 6 (Hanspaulka)
  • Work from home up to 3 days per week
  • Travel allowance of CZK 2,400 gross per month
  • Fully equipped kitchen with snacks, fresh fruit, drinks, ice cream, and more
  • Amazing team trips and activities with an international team, including an annual weekend getaway somewhere in Europe
  • MultiSport card for CZK 500 per month
  • Meal vouchers of CZK 194 per day
  • Work from abroad for up to 15 days per year, plus the option to work from other LYNX offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Ghent
