Lead Monitoring & International Compliance Officer

About the role

As Lead Monitoring & International Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that LYNX operates with robust risk and compliance oversight across all markets. You will act as a trusted advisor to management and departments, guiding the organization on regulatory, risk and data protection matters.

In this role, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for maintaining strong monitoring frameworks, ensuring regulatory readiness and overseeing compliance outcomes, while leading a small, high-impact team.

You’ll be responsible for

  • Overseeing risk management and compliance monitoring frameworks across the organization

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to management on risk, compliance and data protection topics

  • Ensuring alignment with international regulatory frameworks and European standards (e.g. MiFID II, IFR, IFD)

  • Leading and developing a small, high-impact compliance and risk team

  • Maintaining and improving monitoring frameworks, risk dashboards and GRC tools

  • Overseeing data privacy compliance, including responsibilities as DPO (GDPR)

  • Ensuring regulatory readiness and supporting audits, reporting and incident management

  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating risks across the organization

  • Driving continuous improvement of governance, compliance and monitoring processes

  • Coordinating cross-border compliance activities and ensuring consistency across markets

Here’s what we are looking for

  • A senior compliance and risk professional with a strong strategic and analytical mindset

  • Extensive experience in risk management, compliance, governance or financial services oversight

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing small but high-impact teams

  • Deep knowledge of international compliance frameworks and European regulatory standards (MiFID II, IFR, IFD)

  • Hands-on experience with risk dashboards, monitoring frameworks and GRC tools

  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and experience acting as a DPO

  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a brokerage, investment or execution-only financial services environment

  • Exposure to cross-border compliance programs and international regulatory coordination

  • Familiarity with BRCC or similar risk control and governance frameworks

  • Experience in audit preparation, regulatory reporting or incident management
