As Junior Account Manager Professional Clients, you help build the growth of one of LYNX's most strategic segments. You map the professional investor market in the Netherlands and Belgium, identify the funds, asset managers and financial advisors that fit LYNX, and open the door to new relationships. This is a part-time role of 24 hours per week for a period of 12 months.

In this role, you work closely with the Professional Clients team and the CDD department. You research how prospects operate today, which broker or custodian they use, what drives them and what they look for in a partner. You translate those insights into a qualified pipeline and a steady flow of meetings for the team.

You combine curiosity with commercial drive. From market research and lead generation to cold outreach, events and joint client meetings, you play a visible role in bringing new professional clients to LYNX, while learning from experienced colleagues every day.

What you'll do

•          Map the professional clients market in the Netherlands and Belgium: which alternative investment funds, asset managers, financial advisors, fund administrators and elective professionals are active, where they are based and how large they are.

•          Research how prospects currently operate, including which broker, custodian or fund administrator they work with.

•          Identify prospects' needs: what drives them, which challenges they face and what they look for in a broker.

•          Build and maintain a qualified, prioritised lead list and keep all leads, contacts and activities up to date in the CRM.

•          Actively approach prospects by email, LinkedIn and phone, and arrange meetings with them.

•          Attend prospect meetings together with a member of the Professional Clients team.

•          Represent LYNX at industry events and actively build your professional network.

•          Share market insights and prospect needs with the team to sharpen our proposition and approach.

•          Report regularly to the Team Lead Professional Clients on outreach, meetings and pipeline.

•          Act as a backup for the team during busy periods, holidays and absence, for example in client support and internal projects.

Who you are

You are a driven, sales-minded self-starter who enjoys making contact and opening doors. You are curious, work in a structured and independent way, and you are not afraid to pick up the phone. Rejection does not discourage you; it motivates you to find a better approach.

You enjoy turning market information into insights and share what you learn with your team. You take ownership of your leads and appointments and follow through until the job is done.

In addition, you have:

•          A bachelor's degree, for example in Business, Finance or Economics.

•          0–2 years of experience in a commercial or client-facing role.

•          Affinity with sales and experience with, or a strong interest in, cold acquisition.

•          Basic knowledge of financial markets and instruments.

•          Affinity with professional clients such as funds, asset managers and financial advisors.

•          Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Dutch and English.

•          A DSI Informeren Beleggen (Retail) registration, or the willingness to obtain it within 3 months of starting.

What we offer

At LYNX, we believe our people are the key to our success. You'll join an ambitious team in an international, professional environment where your ideas and initiative have a direct impact on our growth.

You can expect:

•          A 12-month assignment of 24 hours per week.

•          A role with real ownership in growing a strategic client segment.

•          Close collaboration with and coaching from experienced Professional Clients colleagues.

•          Room to grow your commercial skills and your network in the Dutch financial sector.

•          A fixed 13th month.

•          A pension scheme.

•          Travel expense reimbursement.

•          An annual training budget of €2,000 for your professional development.

•          Regular team activities, drinks and company events.
