As Product Owner Account Administration, you help the squad own every client process at account and user level; deposits, withdrawals, corporate actions, personal data, account security with one ambition: make the IBKR client portal redundant.
You translate the Product Manager’s vision into structured workflows the squad can build from, and keep the backlog focused on real client and business value.
This is an entry-level product role for mid-career professionals ready to grow into larger product responsibilities.
What you’ll do
• Support day-to-day product planning and execution for client-facing administrative processes.
• Gather requirements from users, customer support and stakeholders.
• Collect and summarise user feedback and usage data to find improvement opportunities.
• Draft user stories, acceptance criteria and wireframes with Engineering and Design.
• Own and prioritise the backlog for administrative client processes, balancing feasibility with client value and risk.
• Drive backlog refinement so stories meet the Definition of Ready before sprint planning.
• Set clear sprint goals, track progress and help remove blockers.
Who you are
You’re curious about product development and enjoy improving processes that directly affect the client experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, e.g. as a Business Analyst, or internships in tech/fintech.
• Comfort analysing basic data and conducting research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; structured and detail-oriented.
• A collaborative, team-first attitude with genuine curiosity about fintech and end users.
Nice to have
• Exposure to regulated environments (fintech, payments, brokerage).
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar tools; basic prototyping/wireframing.
• Understanding of account-level administrative processes in a retail brokerage context.
What we offer
• A competitive salary based on experience.
• Flexible working hours at our office in the heart of the city.
• A fixed 13th-month salary.
• Pension scheme NL/DE/BE.
• Travel expense reimbursement.
• An annual training budget of €2,000, freely allocated to your professional development.
• Team outings, social drinks, and an annual weekend trip with the entire team.
